Privacy Policy for DeceptionProbe

Last updated: October 2026

Privacy-First Commitment: DeceptionProbe does NOT collect, transmit, sell, or store any personal user data, prompts, or chat histories on external servers. All linguistic and mechanistic honesty auditing occurs 100% locally on your device within your browser session.

1. Data Collection & Processing

DeceptionProbe operates strictly as an in-browser client tool. When active on supported AI interfaces (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity), the extension inspects DOM text elements locally to calculate sycophancy and honesty scores. No prompt text or AI responses are ever logged or sent to any remote server.
